The Meydan, winner of the World Travel awards world’s leading sports resort and host to the dubai world cup, features a 290-room 5-star luxury hotel with 8 F&B outlets, extensive conferencing and banqueting facilities, and 62 corporate hospitality suites. The destination offers 7 food and beverage outlets, a rooftop infinity pool, horse-riding, golf, tennis, and other recreational activities. Event spaces include a 450 m² ballroom and the Meydan grandstand with 16,300 m² for events and meetings. The grandstand and racetrack, the world's largest, can accommodate 98,000 visitors along its 1.6 km length.

mdg provided specialist technology consultancy services for the entire development. Their work included concept design, detailed design, tender specification, and construction management of all specialist ELV systems. This encompassed communications infrastructure cabling, active network, LAN, digital signage, IPTV, HiTV, site-wide digital background music, and the main grandstand PA systems and outside broadcast infrastructure for the racetrack.
